The DC Metropolitan Area encompasses the District of Columbia and parts of Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia. According to your chosen source, this can also include the cities of Baltimore, MD, and Richmond, VA. For the purposes of this game, we will be accepting only locations in Maryland, DC and Virginia.

★ As in any city, there are economic disparities, but those in the DC Metro region have been especially significant. Everyone, however, rides the metro. Though it's generally a diverse and liberal-leaning area, this changes the farther one gets from DC.
★ There is always some part of the beltway under construction and always some part of the DC Metro that is being delayed. This area is home to the nation's worst traffic.
